Our team has been hard at work enhancing our community spaces, and even bigger projects are on the horizon. Here’s a detailed look at what’s new and what’s ahead!
Recent Enhancements You’ll Love
We’ve added some fresh touches around the community to make your experience even better:
- Fresh Landscaping: The Clubhouse and pool areas now feature beautifully refreshed greenery to elevate your surroundings.
- Fitness Center Upgrades: We’ve installed new flooring for a more polished and comfortable workout experience.
- Artistic Decor Updates: The Clubhouse entry has been updated with stylish new decor, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Refinished Railings and Posts: A new coat of paint has brought a crisp, polished look to these community features.
A Golfing Experience Elevated
The most exciting news? We’re embarking on a long-term renovation of our beloved golf course! Partnering with the renowned Fazio Design team, we’ve developed a comprehensive plan to elevate the golfing experience at Amelia National. Work begins soon, and we’ll keep you updated as the project progresses.
To support this major renovation, we’re also investing in a brand-new Golf Maintenance facility. This will ensure our maintenance team has the tools and resources they need to keep our course in top condition for years to come.
Winter and Holiday Season Golfing Plans
As we gear up for renovations, we’ve made some adjustments to enhance your golfing opportunities:
- The golf course will remain open on Mondays starting December 2, 2024, with tee times available from 12:00 PM. This will allow our maintenance staff to work on winter grass while giving members more time to enjoy the course.
- The Clubhouse and driving range will remain closed on Mondays, but the golf shop will be open for tee time check-ins.
Additionally, the overseeding process on the course is progressing well, and the cooler temperatures are allowing the weaker areas to catch up, ensuring a lush, thriving landscape.
Looking Ahead to 2025
Mark your calendars! The golf course and driving range will close on Monday, March 17, 2025, to begin the renovation project. This temporary closure is a vital step in bringing the exciting Fazio Design plan to life.
